MANCHESTER UNITED PREMIER CUP

Over Memorial Day weekend, 64 of the Uinted States' most elite U15 teams converged on Nike's World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Over the four-day tournament 173 matches were held and 313 goals were fired into the back of the net. But in the end, only two teams - one girls and one boys - could call themselves the 2008 Manchester United Premier Cup U.S. champions.

After a solid rookie season it looks as though Kevin Durant has his own signature shoe, the Kevin Durant 1 which features Zoom Air technology and is a good look for off and on court.

AIR MAX 97 - TART REBEL PACK

This new pair of Nike Air Max 97’s have just hit retailers nationwide and are also available at BNYC Online. They feature a blue/white colorway with an orange air unit and lining. They are considered to be part of the Tart Rebel Pack which has a pair of Tart Air Tech Challenge II in a similar colorway.

AIR JORDAN XX3 - WHITE/VARSITY RED-METALLIC SILVER

Saturday June 1st will see the release of the latest Air Jordan XX3 in White/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver. For those counting, this is the fifth Jordan XX3 to release since the Titaniums premiered in late January.

NIKE TENNIS CLASSIC "REBEL PACK"

The Nike Tennis Classic is back this year, as some releases have already happened.There is more interesting stuff to come, including various collaborations with Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design. Via Highsnobiety.

AIR JORDAN 5 (V) / AIR FORCE ONE FUSION - White / Varsity Red / Blue Ribbon

The Air Jordan 5 (V) / Air Force One Fusion - White / Varsity Red / Blue Ribbon are highly anticipated, as they feature a beautiful white upper constructed from leather and patent leather, as well as red and blue accents. The midsole is blue, and definitely draws attention to the shoe, along with the white shark teet hdesign. They aren’t supposed to hit stores until June 14, 2008, but Swedish based Caliroots already has them in stock.

NIKE GAME DAY

Two days after Falcons quarterback Mike Vick was indicted on federal dogfighting charges, Nike said it is suspending the release of its latest product bearing his name, the Zoom Vick 5. While it was reported that Nike stopped production of the shoes bearing Vick’s name, logo, and jersey number, the model wasn’t entirely scrapped. This Winter season will see the release of the Air Max Game Day which is essentially the Vick 5 sitting on an full length Air Max sole.

MARK SMITH IS NEW GLOBAL CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF JORDAN BRAND

Mark Smith, the man behind the “laser beam” at Nike will be joining forces with Jordan Brand as the new Global Creative Director of JB. Many Jordan heads have questioned the direction that the brand has been heading in the past few years, but look for things to change. Times are getting interesting in Beaverton and it will be nice to see what direction Mark Smith leads Jordan Brand in.

AIR STRUCTURE TRIAX '91

The Nike Air Structure Triax has been one of Nike's greatest performers in recent memory. Although many perhaps weren't down with its original inception, the Triax still remains relevant almost 20 years later. Aside from the use of suede and leather, the toebox among other areas seem to feature ripstop nylon. No word yet on a release date except for the Holiday season, however other reports are saying this might be a Euro exclusive.

Can't hate on these 2, the Air Max 90 Mowabb and the Air Max 1 Safari. Scheduled to release June 27th.

NIKE X JUN MATSUI "DUNK ELECTRIC"

Famed tattoo artist, Jun Matsui, collaborated with Nike on the Dunk Electric. This model, honoring the centennial of Japanese immigration to Brazil. There will only be 400 pairs of these Dunk Electrics made, 300 for the Brazilian market and 100 for the Japanese market. Each pair will come with an illustration signed by Jun Matsui. Via Sneakersbr

NOGOYA DUNK HI

The Nogoya Dunk, also called the Golden Dolphin, has now been released in Japan and is available at some Stussy Stores. The Dunk Hi comes with a gold upper, mint lining and a fish pattern on the back panels of the sneakers.

NIKE LOOPWHEELER

Exhibiting the same qualities as a bespoke suit in regards to fit, detail and tradition, Nike recently teamed up with Loopwheeler in Japan to create some of the finest cotton fleece apparel around. A great example of fusing the best quality materials with technique and design, it's the ultimate authentic sweatshirt.

AIR BLAZER ACG MID

Here is a look at the Air Blazer ACG Mid Gore-Tex. The Air Blazer ACG Mid, which is part of Nike ACG’s Trail range, echoes Nike’s commitment of listening to athletes and building footwear according to their needs. Besides all the technical details and the Gore-Tex upper, the Air Blazer ACG Mid also comes in a nice brown colorway with graphical elements on the heel that connect it to the Pendleton range.

NIKE BE TRUE CHRONICLES RETURNS

After whatr seems like a hiatus the "Be True" chronicles are back with the Ura dunk low and the AKA dunk low. The AKA Dunk Low was masterminded by Allen Benedikt, founder of the graffiti magazine 12ozPROPHET. The seven Dunk set (Turned-On Yellow, Groovy Green, Hash Brown, Hot-Dog Mustard, Out of Site Orange, Groovy Pink and Moody Blue) was inspired by the aesthetics of Wet Look spray cans with only 5 sets in total produced.



The Ura Dunk was released exclusively in the trend setting Harajuku area and despite the low production numbers, the wearing of the Ura became a great experience rather then a memento left to the confines of one's closet. From there on it set the stage for the Japanese Dunk explosion.

SHARKLEY CITY SERIES

As many of you already know the Sharkley’s were a result of fusing the Dennis Rodman “Air Shake Ndestrukt” and the Charles Barkley “CB 94″. Today eight new colors of the Sharkley’s released exclusively at the House of Hoops in Harlem. Each pair was made to represent a different NBA team.

JORDAN FLIPSYDE

Jumpman brand has evolved over the years. The brand started in 1985 and released basketball sneakers, but now in 2008 they have altered their collection line to include a skate shoe. In July you can expect to see the release of Jumpman’s second skateboarding shoe. If you haven’t noticed the resemblance, the Flipsyde Jordans took their inspiration from the Air Jordan 3 (III).

ACG x PENDLETON WOOLEN MILLS

The Pendleton Limited Edition, which is part of Nike ACG’S men’s life range, lends more than a touch of heritage to the hill this year. This 100% virgin wool jacket was created as part of Nike ACG’s collaboration with Pendleton Mill in Portland, Oregon.

AIR STAB PREMIUM - RUNNIN' GUNNIN' QUICKSTRIKE

Nike just released their new Air Stab Premium Quickstrike named "Runnin' Gunnin'." The shoe features a mixture of premium black leather upper with black mesh. It has neon pink accents and a paint-splattered effect applied on the back sole. It also has a clear outsole with matching graphics on the left and right shoe that makes this Quickstrike stand out from the rest. Available now at Major.

NIKE BROWN SOCCER BOOTS

At Euro 2008, the players contracted to Nike, with the exception of Cristiano Ronaldo, are going to wear special edition Nike football boots created in close accordance to the tournament’s location. The collection is inspired by the host countries of the 2008 European Championships (Austria & Switzerland) and the style of football boots seen on-field during the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland.

JD SPORTS EXCLUSIVE AIR MAX LIGHT

The Nike Air Max Light was released to the world nearly 20 years ago when it enjoyed a small period of circulation before being overshadowed by its next evolution, the Air Max 90. Re-released for the first time last year at JD, its back again soon in this JD exclusive colourway of White/Laser Blue/Grey/Black.
